Developed during my time with Opera, I created conceptual proposals for a partnership with the mobile carrier Sprint to incorporate a toolbar widget into an iOS based browser. This idea allowed the user to add and customize shortcuts into the toolbar, and ended up setting the precedent for Opera’s desktop browser design as it is seen today.
The widget would also include information linked to the user's cellphone plan with the carrier. The user would get notifications of their data plan and quick links to the carrier's site in order to top-up on data.
