I'm Samantha

I'm a Staff Product Designer from the Philippines via Canada, now based in San Francisco. An immigrant raised in culturally mixed and diverse hubs, my joy comes from connecting humans to content and experiences they love through meaningful concepts.

I built my first commissioned website at 11 for a local laser tag company, growing up in the age of Geocities and Angelfire websites, and the early days of Adobe Photoshop. I eventually earned my BA in Interaction Design from Simon Fraser University in 2012. I've led design at Keycafe; was part of Opera Software's design team; co-founded Zenlabs, and OurJamz cloud studio; and freelanced steadily over the years.

I was most recently leading design for Crunchyroll's Marketing Technology organization, and experimental designs for the cross-platform video experience. Currently exploring my next Staff or Director-level Acquisition and Growth design role.
